Corporate Connect works with the local and international buyers to enhance the ecosystem for Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SD&I) and to create a sustainable environment for supporting gender-inclusive sourcing in Bangladesh.
Corporateconnect International implements awareness raising among the large buyers on SD&I through webinars, corporate roundtables and engaging with industry associations corporations for sharing knowledge & best practices from local and international champions. The buyers that are interested to engage and commit to the gender-inclusive sourcing will be signing a pledge and will be connected with qualified women suppliers.

Corporate Partners
The project is already supported by 16 Bangladeshi corporate partners that have signed pledge letters to commit sourcing more goods and services from women-owned businesses.
Corporate Connect has also launched the country’s first Supplier Diversity Advisory Committee with 5 local and 2 international corporations on board.

- Size of the business, agency, organization, etc.
- Priority sectors for Bangladesh where majority of WSMEs represent (retail, chemicals and chemical products, garments, food and leather)
- Average spend on procurement annually
- Evidence of supplier diversity and inclusion readiness
